Friends who know me very well describe me as being "Delightfully Demented" I've been called The Merry One or the GoofusAmongUs, and that's OK by me.
Brendan Gill (1914 - 1997) once said, "Not a shred of evidence exists in favor of the idea that life is serious." As far as I can tell he was right. Yes, serious things do happen but that doesn't mean I need to live seriously, simply live mindfully.
Dennis Wholey (1939 - ) said, "Expecting the world to treat you fairly because you are a good person is a little like expecting the bull not to attack you because you are a vegetarian."
And Bertrand Russell (1872 - 1970) said, "The good life, as I conceive it, is a happy life. I do not mean that if you are good you will be happy - I mean that if you are happy you will be good."
And John Lubbock (1834 - 1913) said, "What we see depends mainly on what we look for." I tend to look for the good in people and situations.
As Garrison Keillor (1942 - ) says, "Be well, do good work and keep in touch!"

i think if more of the world was delightfully demented they would enjoy life more :)
