Fridays are always busy. I fed the fish; fed Nena and walked her; went to breakfast with my son [his treat]; did a load of laundry [jodphurs and horse saddle pads and fly masks]; went to the pharmacy to get refills; voted; and finally went for groceries. Just about time for a siesta. Nena's already napping. I changed my books yesterday so I'm set for the weekend, which is supposed to be wet and windy. Oscar came and put up the trellis screen outdoors. It will cost about $500 for materials to finish the other two walls. And I need a vine for the one that's completed. He also cut down a set of shelves in my closet so I could move a small bureau underneath it, and now I can hang my long garments on the rail where it used to be. Such a simple thing but it has made such a difference. I'd like a garage door opener before winter gets here, but if wishes were horses beggars would ride.
