Most wondrous husband built me this sturdy hoophouse to raise my precious tomatoes in. Next year we'll actually be able to sell some tomato plants because of this greenhouse.
What a great greenhouse! How great it must be to have land to spread out and plant away. I am in Colorado too, northwest of Denver. Here's to this year's harvest!
Fantastic! I am so jealous I am waiting to have my own garden at the community garden. 3rd from list. I love to grow vegetables and can't wait to do that. I hope before next summer I will have it.
I agree with Off the Grid, but, I need a smaller size building, because I live in the City and right now I do container gardening. They didn't do so well this year, maybe because I got started a little to late. I am also, going to try and fix my gutters so I can catch rainwater to water the plants with. City water with the chemicals can't be good for them
Hi, Kudos to your hubby. Would he/you be willing to share the plans for this hoop/green house? Looks like something we have need and room for. That and a sweat lodge.
We have our own well which supplies us with some very nice water (we had bad tasting water in town). I don't think I could afford to do it if I had to water with city water as water comes at quite a premium here in Colorado
Wow, what a greenhouse. It's one of my dreams and to have the opportunity to grow veggies and flowers in such a perfect place. Your children must be having a blast helping. How do you water your plants--a well or city ?
