Becoming Blonde was quite an experience. I bought a spikey blond wig from a consignment shop, and wore it for fun one evening. Everyone went crazy over it, and told me that I looked 10 to 20 years younger.
Then one of my Gentleman Friends said, "When I take you home, don’t take off the wig!" That’s clinched it. I decided to go all the way. Unfortunately, I had dyed my hair a dark brown that same week. So, instead of blonde, I turned a sickly, strange red color. Believe me, it took a lot of processing for me to walk out of the beauty salon with reasonably blonde hair.
What could my Beautician then tell me. She told me that I was a work in progress! Now, I’m NOT going back to being a brunette, for I’m finding out that blonde’s truly do have more fun. Although, who knows, I"ve learned in life to never say never! Shelby
