My name is Linda. I am 51 years old. Mother of 3. Grandma of 1 and another on the way.
I would just like to start out about my Mom. She passed away when I was only 7 years old. I have very little memories of her. But, what i do remember I will cherish forever. It was very hard growing up without her around especially when I turned Sweet 16, and at prom time and granduation from H.S. When i was ready to get married was the hardest. She wasn't there to help me shop for my bridal gown or there on my wedding day to share and smile with me. When I had my children, I would of so much loved to have her present.
My first child was a girl, born in 1980 and she passed away in 2003 at the age of 23. That pain is just so, so horrible. A pain I would wish on no one.
Dear Linda,
I'm so sorry for your losses. Do you have other children? Look around in the online community for individuals and groups who share your experiences. There are lots of people who have had very sad things happen to them. You'll find a very supportive group of people if you want to. My best to you.
