If you're not having a good time doing what you're doing, you're doing the wrong thing! If by a "Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people ? their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties ... if that is what they mean by a "Libera...l," then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal." John F. Kennedy (1960)

About Me

From a very young age I have always felt a strong connection to the natural environment. Eventually, I learned that some of my ancestors were Native Americans, and that is what I thought gave me this closeness to Mother Earth. But recently I studied 'A New Earth' by Ekhart Tolle and that brought a perspective that makes a lot of sense to me. Friends have always been very important to me and I have a great desire for everyone to be peaceful in our relationships. Yes, we can certainly disagree at times, but wouldn't it be a very dull world if everyone agreed with each other at all times?

For some humor: as I am sooooo old, I learned the pledge when young, which was before IKE changed it and added "under god".

I actually do have a religion in my background, but saw some hypocracy early on (although I had no idea what hypocracy was) - I just didn't understand some of their criticism about the things my family did that harmed no one, just were against their dogma...and as I grew older (and perhaps wiser), I grew farther from "organized religion"

Now, when I am asked to say the Pledge, I continue to omit those 2 words!

And some say I'm stubborn! ha ha

I'm impressed by the working of the Internet to meet & share with people around the world and living my life 1-day at a time.

Great graphics LeCherie
