Hi! I am retired and live here in southeast Alabama in the area known as the "Wiregrass". An avid reader I enjoy stories about people and history. Have a passion for geneology. Enjoy collecting receipes and learning about their orgins and the people who developed them. Such has those written during war times when various products like eggs and sugar were rationed and not used in receipes. I enjoy meeting people and listening to their tales. Yes, I am a little on the gabby side at times. I have a delightful granddaughter who's photo appears below. My two sons are grown. I am active in the Senior Circle at a local hospital. Have one rambunctious cocker spaniel named Isabell and two siamese cats Cosmo and Blanco. Cosmo is temperamental, Blanco is laid back. Both were named by my granddaughter. Her name for me is "Maw Maw." Come on in and sit a spell! Always a delight to visit!
