I don't think I have ever experienced quite a month like March 2009 and it is not even half way done yet. To begin with, Barbie and I turned 50 years old this month. I don't know if it bothers Barbie to turn 50, but I don't mind it at all. As my daughter puts it "Once you turn 21, the next age you look forward to is 50 when you can join AARP." She turned 30 this year. The second thing to happen this month is that I found out I have to have surgery on St. Patrick's Day. Hope they put in me in a green hospital gown, so I don't get pinched. I have been wanting some time off from work. As they say, "Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it." I will be off work for at least six weeks. Guess I should have been more specific about how I wanted time off from work. Think I would have enjoyed my time off more if I wasn't recovering from surgery. Well, this may be my last journal for awhile. Don't worry though, I will return. *smiles*
