About Me

I am a California girl who moved to the least populated state in the United States in 1979. I have moved away a few times, but always seem to end up back in Wyoming. I am still working in the Protective Services profession, but am beginning to look at different avenues to travel down. I don't know how much longer I will be able to work in the PS profession. My spouse is Quapp here in the forums and is from Australia. He moved half way around the world to be with me. There is no bigger compliment than that. *smiles* We met online in such games as World of Warcraft & Dark Age of Camelot. We don't play those games too often anymore, because, well, we have a life now. *smiles* We played and chatted in those games and games like them for over four years before we met in person. We have been married since 2004. My life has totally changed and improved since he entered my life

Interests:
My interests are camping, hunting, fishing, riding the ATV, learning, reading, photography, traveling, and casinos. I am beginning to get into Nascar. Hope to see a race in person this year or next *smiles*

My Journals (4)

I don't think I have ever experienced quite a month like March 2009 and it is not even half way done yet.  To begin with, Barbie and I turned 50 years old this month.  I don't know if it bothers Barbie to turn 50, but I don't mind it at all.  As my daughter puts it "Once you turn 21, the next age you look forward to is 50 when you can join AARP."  She turned 30 this year.  The second thing to happen this month is that I found out I have to have surgery on St. Patrick's Day.  Hope they put in me in a green hospital gown, so I don't get pinched. I have been wanting some time off from work.  As they say, "Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it."  I will be off work for at least six weeks.  Guess I should have been more specific about how I wanted time off from work.  Think I would have enjoyed my time off more if I wasn't recovering from surgery.  Well, this may be my last journal for awhile.  Don't worry though, I will return.  *smiles*

LadyQ, how the heck are you?

If I had known you were having surgery before now...I would have sent more Get Well Soon, Feel Better Soon or Hurry Up and Recover messages...but I didn't know. Anyhow, there is no time like the present. So, HURRY UP AND GET BETTER...THE CAMPING SEASON HAS BEGUN.

In fact, I will be leaving 5:30am Friday morning for my second camping trip. The first was last month in Gettysburg, PA for the National Women On Wheels Motorcycle Rally. There's nothing better then spenting time with motorcycle riding sisters!

Many Blessings - Edith
