About Me

I am simply delighted to have turned 50 in 2008. There is something entirely liberating about being 50 years old. I am a Caregiver to my Mom who is 80+ years old and whose conquering Spirit I admire more than words could ever express.

Interests:
I created and continue to manage a neat online support group on a site for boomers. My group is called Caregiver's Sunshine. I welcome any Caregiver to my online support group if you are 40+ and interested in caring, sharing and learning from other Caregivers who actively seek to bask in the sunshine and experience the very best moments and memories of being a Caregiver. Caregiving is certainly a challenge. It need not be all gloom and doom is how I view it. Life is too short to live it in a doom and gloom zone. I love spending time in my garden, as I did yesterday when one of my neighbors stopped by unannounced and brought one of her Friends with her. We pulled up a few of my garden chairs and had ourselves a blast talking about everything from menu planning to retirement dreams and family get-togethers. Spontaneous life moments are always the best. What am I doing tomorrow? I will know when tomorrow arrives! Until then, you will find me right here in my garden and at home enjoying my climbing roses and flowering lime tree. I've died and gone to heaven!
