It's almost 8 am and only 19 degrees. Burrrrrrrrr! But in probably 3 hours it'll be 45-50, then by 3 it'll be 65. Crazy weather here.
We're headed off to tour Indian ruins with some college studetns that are visiting during Spring Break. We'll see go to the Grand Canyon as well. So much amazing stuff to see, the painted desert, the colored stripes of the mountains, the total primative living conditions as we drive through the Navaho reservation. Everyone should experience the high desert. Do we have a travelouge forum in here? Maybe I'll post some of the awesome pictures.
A friend of mine was just there a couple weeks ago to visit her son, who lives out that way. She said as he was driving through the Indian territory she was in tears just to see what kind of land was given them...totally empty...hardly able to sustain any kind of living. That's what was allowed them in their own native land!
Hi, seems the weather is crazy all over, here in Illinois they say if you don't like the weather today, just wait, it will be different tomorrow!, the desert sounds beautiful, I've only seen photographs, Have a great day.
Hope you have a great trip. Ten years ago I was in Rio Rico for a few weeks and did a little touring. However, there is never enough time. Hope you post pictures. Look forward to seeing them.
