Hello everyone,
I am retired, married and have 4 children , 6 grandchildren , 3 great grand children and 2 dogs.. My husband and I love to travel and we both enjoy a good book .I like to cook and try new recipes. Love going to new areas of the country and meeting new people. I like to quilt and work in the yard. I miss gardening alot. The area of Georgia we are in just isn't conducive to growing much of anything. Yes, soil has been amended. I love nature and watching birds and other animals .We have a home in Michigan and have a racoon that visits every evening and eats the corn put out for the deer. His name is Ike. The deer come and go and are so gorgeous. I love to walk to the river and watch them drink or swim across. Besides that , I stay busy with my hobbies , making charity quilts and taking care of a grand child .I used to volunteer at a community food bank and plan on going back to do that.

WOW.......I can hardly wait to get through the list of books that you suggested. I have read the Scott Peck book, but not the others. But I'm on my way to the library this week. I like to keep at least 2 novels and 2 or 3 non-fiction all going at the same time. That way as my mood throughout the day varies, I can refer to whatever I happen to like at the time. marie
