While waiting for my DREAM JOB to happen.......actual living takes money!
When I get to Washington in September, I will use the connections in this story as a good example of networking, but for time sake now, I'll skip that part.
Fast forward - going to work after 14 months.
Items needed:
Strength (40 hour weeks are not easy when you've been out of the groove).
Cultural saavy (totally different geographical region and a totally different industry).
Patience (working a 3 month temp assignment - in an entry level position)
Pride ( having to swallow much less per hour than in the last 20 years)
Restraint (family and friends have suggested that "perhaps my dream is too big and I should just be happy to survive")well-meaning, I'm sure.
