I am a cat lover. Right now I have six cats. Two are Siamese Appleheads-Memphis and Ashlee. Two years ago I went to Columbus, Ohio to save Memphis from being put to sleep. He was a biter. He would just chase you down and grab your leg and bite you. He was found on the streets-all four paws delawed. The only defense he had was biting. Now, I am glad to say, he is a loving, well adjusted cat. Memphis now even gives kisses. All six of my cats have come from wild cats outside or from the Humane Society. We have also adopted a dog, Ambernae, from the Humane Society. She was found after being hit by a car and we can tell that she was also abused. She cannot tell where sounds come from and she is very, very shy. When she was first taken in she had to be carried in and out of the house to go to the bathroom. She would not walk through any doorways. All she would do is cower in the corner of the room. Ambernae will now go in and out of the house and she runs around in the house and plays-and of course once in a while-chases the cats. One of her favorite things is chasing her tail. She has come a long way-but she has a long way to go. The main thing is that she is in a place where she is safe and wanted, and loved

My hobbies right now are few. I fell in January 2008 and have had one neck surgery, two back surgeries (the last one was May 7, 2009), and still have to have ankle surgery. So I am missing out on gardening, riding the bike, and so many other things I enjoyMy Photos (6)
