About Me

As a local Artist I enjoy working with graphite and watercolor pencils and acrylic paints to create various subjects. I am currently co-President of the local Art Club

Interests:
I enjoy listening to music...Country, Folk and Classical mostly; some Jazz and have sung with 3 groups in the past...Show tunes, some classical, pop and church music. I'm presently engaged in creating a novel. Have a published poem in an Anthology in the Library of Congress. I also have a very dear friend in Nottingham, England....we have been correspondents and friends for just over 45 years

NEARLY 72 AND GOING HIGH-TECH!!!

 

OK.....I'm going "high-tech" !!!!

I needed a new cell phone and decided that if I was going to purchase a good one and pay the price, I would pick out the latest with all the bells and whistles!  Well, I'm not going to use all of those features just yet; just the ones I get with the phone and those I really need to use.

Went for a Blackberry Storm and I'm having fun using it!  It is quite an upgrade from my little ole Samsung, but I was ready to join in and communicate with the rest.

Still learning each week - how to navigate and use it like a pro; the latter of course will take a little time.  It comes with 2 games on it, which I plan to replace eventually....I like games like Wheel of Fortune and Jeapardy and Millionaire....you know...the ones that 'make one think' to keep a mind active.

So I've been offline for several days, trying to get used to the new technology and have to appologize.  Even my drawing board is complaining for I have been ignoring it too.

But I'm back now!
