It's that time of year when we think of Thanksgiving and then Christmas.
The question is what have we got to be thankful for?
That no matter how bad things seem to be they can always get worse and they can always get better.
People are out of work, losing their homes, no medical insurance and scratching for the essentials just to survive. Meanwhile there are people who are trying to help these people keep their dignity, heads held high.
My mother went through the Big Depression. She told me about the time when there was no food, I was an infant and she didn't know what to do. SHe sat down in a chair and started to cry, then she prayed. She slid her hand down beneath the chair cushion and found enough money to buy bread, milk and a can of soup.
No matter what your religious belief or who you pray to, there will be someone who will hear and send aid in one form or another.
Let us all be aware that Helping Others make us feel good and the knowledge that we are able to help even better.
Tis the Season for love and giving. How are you going to celebrate your Holiday.
