LOVED YOUR "COW BELLES" JOURNAL. YOUR WRITTING PAINTS A BEAUTIFUL PICTURE AND REMINDED ME OF ONE OF THE HAPPIEST TIMES IN MY LIFE WHEN I SPENT A YEAR ON MY UNCLES FARM. THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES !
TAKE CARE,...LONNIE
Haven't read your latest journal yet, Lovely Lady, but I'm about to (and a quick skim says it will be a delight!) Light up your night with fireworks, girl: you are too beautiful to do otherwise.
HI GRANNAPPLE,
JUST STOPPED IN TO SAY HI, WAS LOOKING AT PROFILES AND YOU HAD SO MANY OF THE SAME INTEREST I FELT A "GIANT" NEED TO COMMENT. I LOVE A GOOD SENCE OF HUMOR,INDEPENDENCE ON ONES SELF, CURIOSITY,[SOMETIMES IT GETS ME IN TROUBLE !]IF ANY THING IN THE HOUSE BREAKS I CAN FIX IT, AND
WHEN I STARTED LEARNING COMPUTERS GOOGLE GAVE ME A WHOLE NEW WORLD. MY HUSBAND IS NOT WELL, SO I LOOK UP EVERYTHING THAT CONCERNS HIM. I BELIEVE KNOWLEDGE IS POWER, AND HAVING VERY LITTLE EDUCATION
MAKES ME MORE CURIOUS ABOUT EVERYTHING.
ONLY FLOWER GARDENS FOR ME NOW, MY KNEES DON`T LIKE THE GROUND !
I`VE KEPT YOU LONG ENOUGH.........LONNIEO
Hi Lonnie, Thanks for the invite.Yes, Google is wonderful. I didn't get into computers until I retired and then got a job at the Extension office as a Horticulture Aide. Loved it. I.D. bugs, weeds, plants. Had to quit when the gov't decided I made to much on retirement to remain in the Sr employment program. Got 4 years in tho. I was in heaven with Google. When I had my knees replaced my son gave me his old computer, which keeps plugging along. Currently, I am working on a Heritage Book. A manageable geneological project. You write what you know about yourself, parents and their parents. Like I say manageable and a start. I am up to my mother's parents. Of course there is much more I can research and plan to but at least I started. Erla
