The Forum is located at http://msws.us/Forum/

Every Sunday we sit down to a huge breakfast. It is an open door affair and anyone can walk in and join the on-going meal. I got the idea from my Dad and Grandma, back when it became obvious Grandma couldn't be left on her own anymore.

She burned the kitchen twice when she walked out to empty the garbage and then got to talking with the dog and then noticed the mail was delivered and then stopped to talk to someone driving by who pulled up to the curb for a chat.

Anyway, Dad and Grandma would cook up a huge meal together and folks would drop by, following their nose, and sit down to a warm meal and lots of talk and laughter. I try to recreate that atmosphere each week for my kids.

But before I do any of that I give myself time to myself to write, read mail and Journals, and visit with friends too far away to follow their nose to my table. Hello my friend! I hope you have a fabulous Sunday.

It's quiet today, the maniac cat is curled up and asleep, a western is droning on and on in the living room and rain is dripping from the roof. I love these kind of days. They become my resevoir of peace when life gets hectic again. Here's wishing you a wonderful New Year, just the way you like it!
