My Journals (1)

A blue sky with puffy clouds; an April day with a fine misty rain; holding a person's hand and never saying a word but  knowing exactly what they are thinking.

Sitting at a bistro, sipping a glass of wine, watching the world go by knowing just how lucky you are to be in that spot.

These are a few of my favorite things and they make me happy.

GSquare, thanks for the compliment regarding my attitude. I am so excited to hear about your upcoming retirement! I just read your profile and I am certain you will be just fine in the next chapter of your life (retirement). The opportunity to retire is such a blessing GSquare. Please send me a note the day before or the day after you retire because I want to celebrate with you. I really want you to remember that life is too short to worry about unimportant stuff. You should spend time with the ones you love and tell them that you love them, enjoy the company of strangers and do something special for them if you can, enjoy your own company and do some of the wild and crazy things you have dreamed about, observe the awesomeness (is that a word?) of the universe, and know that you are blessed. And bless others.

Hello GSquare,

If you ever make it to California, please let me know and maybe you can stay with us for a couple of days! We are only 20 minutes from three of THE best casinos in San Diego and only about 35 minutes from the ocean...we love to have company, please let me know. By the way, thanks for volunteering in your community, we need more folks to give back but I'm preaching to the choir right? Have a good week!

Good morning, GSquare. Thanks for your comment on my "Have an attitude of gratitude". I try to stay positive no matter what. With so much going on, I have to stay in prayer.
