The human heart is selfish, prefers its own way, fights being molded by God and does not want to give in when we don't get what is "rightfully ours." We're too stubborn, prideful and strong-willed, and these unbecoming characteristics are most starkly revealed in our relationships. Lucy Swindoll ~*~

Temper ! Temper ! Temper !

Temper ! Temper ! Temper !

Gosh how long has it been since we have heard those words?

I must make a confession.  I lost my  temper this past week.

There are many definitions of temper.  I like one particular

definition I will say that describes my " losing it."

My dictionary calls it; "calm disposition."  I like that one, I think

I will let that be my definition.  Doesn't  it sound more lady like?

When growing up I always heard that red headed people had

tempers.  My brother is a red head.  He never loses it.  I mean

he doesn't scream or hit anybody.  Me?  I am not a red head but

I wanted to 'gasp:::: Lord, forgive me,' slap my computer. It

would have hurt me worse.  Oh, but I nearly did do it in one day,

by accident.  I had my ear phones plugged in, and I had them

around my neck, got up out of my chair to check on something

I had on the stove, and 'oops' [ I hate that word, lol] my computer

started with me.  Whewww, thank you Lord, it didn't come of the

desk.

I found patience was not my virtue.  Proverbs talk about the

'virtuous woman.'  That wasn't me.  I wonder how many others

were tested this past two weeks.  God bless two faithful friends

they hung in there with' faith believing' all would be well.

I like hanging with people like that.  But, I was a grouch.

Yes, the definition of 'temper' is losing ones 'calm disposition.'

Yea !!!!!   I  found mine, it wasn't lost after all, it was under all

those OOPS pages.  LOL....Thank you AARP.

Tee, hee...I think it would be interesting if we could see the words that were eaten by the pink page of death. No, on second thought, maybe not!
