Actually I have been "overly gregarious most of my adult life. That became even more pronounced after the death of my wife.
By "overly gregarious" I mean that sometimes I think I overdue my friendliness. There are times when I get the feeling that others don't want to be bothered with my attenton (both male & female). But, then again, I meet quite a few people that seem to enjoy our conversations. I try not to be offensive to anyone or anything in my comments to strangers.
