What ya mean "cold" walk through Perpetual Restoration - most of those were shot in the more temperate times only some in the deep freeze.
It's no longer half as COLD as it used to be - new roof, siding, insulation, windows, doors, lead abatement, chimneys, sills, times three buildings - the mice and bats who were free-loaders have left after 15 years of free reign and free tenancy - "One Bite will do ya" rodent lollipops - rule. Another 5 years of work it may actually become my year round home - I DO like privacy.
I was taking my husband for a (cold) walk through your beautiful pictures this morning. We are both pretty impressed with your "Perpetual Restoration" project. Looks like a heck of a lot of work but what a beautiful place to enjoy some peace and quiet!
I love your Maine pictures, both old and new! My Dad's people came from Maine, his Grandfather was born in Dixmont, Penobscot Co. I'm the family genealogist so I've always been interested in your beautiful state but haven't had a chance to visit, YET!
