Hi Peggy,
Sorry I got you mixed up w/ Christine. Yes I know where that church is. I go to a church in South Windsor called Avery Street Christian Reformed Church. Also I have just became interested in making errings.Since I'm not as active as I would like to be I needed something to do w/ my hands, and now that there are computers I can get things like that on line. It is a God sent gift.
In Christ,
Carol

Hi Carol, I'm the one who used to live in Manchester, not Christine. If you look at Christine's profile you will see that she lives in Utah. No I don't live in Manchester anymore. I moved to Vernon/Rockville area in the late '80's, then to Maine in '92, and then here to eastern NY in '96. It's nice to meet other Christian's here at AARP.org. There seems to be quite a few of us. Good to talk with you.
In Christ,
Peggy

hi FlutterbyPeg
Yes I am a born again christian and I am so looking forward to HIS return. Probably even more so since my mother has now gone home. Yes where would we be without GOD's forgiveness. What do others do that dont have that assurance of forgiveness. The world is getting worse and worse each day.. I will be so glad to go "home"
It is nice to hear from you ... Tell me about you..
blessings

Hi Christine,
Not sure what else to tell you that's not in my profile. I've recently started (again) to try to learn to play the guitar. Have always wanted to be able to play. But I'm kind of weak in the discipline department. I'm also brushing up on my French, using a CD on the computer. I took 3 years of French in high school, and studied some on my own when I was younger, but haven't done much with it for years. I've always wanted to be able to speak French, though, and they say that learning a language helps you to keep your brain in shape and improve memory.
I sing in the choir at church and we have been getting ready to sing for Easter, which is next week already. Can you believe it?! Seems like we just had Christmas.
Nice talking to you. God bless.
Peggy
