About Me

THAT's ME.. Carmen Regine! I FELL INTO TOWN via referral by Veterans Affairs on EDUCATIONAL REHABILITATION PROGRAM and when credentials disappeared at the University of Illinois... I melded into the community. Over the following years I struggled against other credentials being stolen in the mail. Since then, as in earlier years, I HAVE SPENT SO MUCH TIME HELPING OTHERS AND PUTTING THEIR NEEDS FIRST, that I no longer know what I personally enjoy. I don't know what I like or what I prefer. I have no idea what I would "like in a man" ...if I ever let one get close to me again. For example: WHILE WAITING FOR THE VETERANS AFFAIRS to process my service connected disability, I "babysat" an elderly stroke victim... the mother of what turned out to be an FBI employee. I discovered that ONLY after wearing her jacket home... the night air was cool and I had worn a short sleeved top to their home. She was arriving only minutes after I departed, and so, told me to throw on one of her jackets or sweaters...bring it back when I returned. I did. It was the WRONG ONE! I guess that's life

Interests:
I LIKE BEING MARRIED... although I've been married three times...twice to two men who turned out to be pretty much the same; I was to to do EVERYTHING my "dam self". The third one made me a widow at age 36 when he was killed only one year after we were married We were together for even less time. He was traveling... I was in college. OTHERWISE? I have to work on it, but... I know I like ART... painting with acrylics and photography

I SENT COPIES OF COPYRIGHTED WORDS to long missed and cherished friends recently. The words, written some years ago brought forth memories of shared thoughts of elementary school. Elementary school friends and deep concerns of what the final outcome of appearances would be. HAIR and SKIN... SKINTONE was the big deal. Where some could look into eyes and the face of another and see the person inside...beyond the hair and skin where additives and chemicals in the form of makeup and ULTRA SHEEN would soon make it's alterations; most could only see room for a knock down. KNOCK DOWNS provide a step up above the next perosn in line... in scenario... in the way. KNOCK DOWNS provide a means for blocking friendship connections and intimacy...by those who can get in by using the imagined "IDEAL."  Among girls (who become women) the ideal generally begins with HAIR TYPE or STRUCTURE.  To increase opportunities, SKINTONE...black.. white.. high yellow... olive undertone... reddish hue...etcetera; rips the personality long before an EGO ever evolves.

AFTER MAKING THE INTRODUCTION OF FAMILY INTO LIFE, I finally figured out that I needed to WHITEN my appeal and STRAIGHTEN my hair. I'm wondering how many of us did just that. DID YOU ALSO REMEMBER TO ALTER GENITALIA  for the viewing mases? They grade us on that too, don't they.

CAN YOU SEE PAST ALL THAT?

Friends are very special people who accept
each other with unconditional caring. They

Recognize each other?s talents and faults, and
acknowledge them without judgment.

They are Incapable of turning away when times
are tough and life?s problems seem hard to bear.

Instead, they Encourage each other so they can
enjoy the good times and find strength to endure the

bad times. They?re Never afraid to say what
they feel and can be honest without causing

hurt or pain. They can Depend on each other
because they have the kind of trust

that allows them to Share the best and
worst of their lives with laughter and without fear. I have had a very busy schedule this year and having a lot to do I have neglected you my friend. This I apologize for for that was never my intention. Not to mention I have just finished another bout with the flu. But, like the poem says FRIENDS ARE THE BEST..Thankyou for being you and still being here! Just needed to tell you how much I value your friendship.Wishing you a Magical Day and all the Best Things In Life.Keep Safe! Keep Smiling ! Hugs!

May you be inspired with Nature?s Inspiration.

ANGEL... I don't know which end of the world you came in from; but the angle I seem to have existed in for a lifetime is lined with relationship mines. TRADITIONAL THOUGHT never applies if used in attempted relation to the persons that fell into my life.
SHINE THE LIGHT on your entrance so more of us can find it!
