GREAT DAYGREAT DAY
(4-5-2008) No fish or mushrooms, but I enjoyed my time with my yougest son(Josh). At Worsher Lake in Potato Creek State Park. Water temp is still cool for fishing in a large body of water and the wild voilets are starting to come up in the woods. The time as come to start enjoying the great outdoors.

Well, made it out on Sunday 5-4-2008 for morel hunting. Took two new hunters with me,(my neice and her boyfriend). The first morel they found was a false morel, but I kept it so if they found the real deal I could explain the difference in them. They did find 19 of the real morels,very small in size. So,another tradition is past on to another generation. I didn't find any,but I still felt good about going!

Hope your friend shared with you. It's been rainy here and so muddy just haven't been able to get to any woods lately. I keep saying that maybe the sun will be out tommorrow. I've been checking the reports here in Indiana, and the morels are out there.
