(4-5-2008) No fish or mushrooms, but I enjoyed my time with my yougest son(Josh). At Worsher Lake in Potato Creek State Park. Water temp is still cool for fishing in a large body of water and the wild voilets are starting to come up in the woods. The time as come to start enjoying the great outdoors.

(3-12-2008) Went into the local park woods this past weekend to check out the ground for morel hunting. I’m needing the air tempture to be in the 60’s - 70’s to find them. It was a nice brisk walk and when I got to the creek at the bottom of the hill, I was wishing I had my fishing pole with me. I just got my fishing license and State park pass and some new lures. I just can’t wait, now if this snow and cold would just go away! So I’m set and almost ready to go.

3-7-2008) I beleave it’s almost mushroom season here in Indiana. If there is any mushroom hunters out there, please feel free to leave me a message. Still snow on the ground  too. Is it still to cold to start hunting? I love Morels!  I use to go looking for morels with my Dad years ago.
