I am geographically schizophrenic (Canada/US), a widow of 4 years and a retired small business owner . After retirement, I realized my lifelong dream of an Italian vacation and have since had the opportunity to do more traveling, but given all the rising costs, this year's vacation probably will be the last overseas. I will consider my 6 months in a MHP in Florida as my vacation and escape from the long Canadian winter and will be delighted to do so. Since I lived in the Tampa Bay area for 16 years prior to re-establishing my Canadian residency and had my business there, I am familiar with the area and feel quite at home. For hobbies I enjoy golf in both locations, reading, singing, songwriting, dancing, and when pressed, cooking and knitting! My widowhood and retirement have led to greater introspection and spiritual pursuits and I am particularly interested in New Thought books, Eckhart Tolle, A Course in Miracles, Buddhist literature, metaphysics and meditation. I am uncomfortable with rigidity in doctrines and judgmental people. Friends describe me as cheerful and upbeat.
