I'm grateful that the surgeon could remove it laparoscopically (say THAT three times fast -- i can't!). i hope to be back at work next week. i'm trying to find that balance between doing enough and not doing too much. bit of a trick. my belly feels like i was punched. but i'm happy not to have any more gallstone attacks. thanks be to god!

i crocheted during all the ending speeches for the presidential primaries and got quite a bit done!

cheerio!

How are you, DocBev? it feels like summer now here in DC: hot and muggy. I'm home recuperating from a gallbladder removal and enjoying the slow pace, frankly. oh and crocheting whenever possible. :-)

take care!

How are you feeling, Jane. I had my gall blader removed quite a few years ago, and it did afford me a lot of time for leisure things. lol
Washington doesn't sound very pleasant. I say that from experience. Here in Dearborn (Michigan) where we are surrounded by the Great Lakes we are also victims of high humidity. What an unpleasant experience that is. So I can complete empathize with you, the humidity is so high here, that it's VERY uncomfortable. I almost dread summer coming. I used to love the winters, but the older I get, the less I like snow.
I hope you are feeling comfortable and getting lots of crocheting done. :-)

Dear DocBev,
What knitting projects are you working on? I an just finishing a sweater for my youngest grandchild. I made one for myself using Nickie Epstein's Knitting on the Edge for the cuffs, around the neck, down the front edges and around the bottom. I was very pleased with the outcome.

Your sweaters sound very nice. I'm just finishing up quite a few projects, I'm notorious for not finishing projects right away, and working on more than one at a time. Right now I'm working on a walleby, mittens, two purses, drop-stitch scarf, and socks. LOL I knit a sweater for my cousin, it's all done, all I have to do is put it together. Welcome to the site. I hope we'll get to talk many more times.
