Ouch.... I had that happen to me .When I lived in Woodside we had a large pond.
I took my daughter and her friend over to go fishing .( they were about ten )
The girls were having fun naming the worms george ,peter suzy and so on.So they did not want to hurt there new little friends .... but still wanted to go fishing. My daughter said can we use the pretend fish ( lure) . So I rigged them up and cast it there a few times and again they were happy. Then all of a sudden Kimberly's friend said I got one .. and sure enough thier was something tugging on her line. So I told her to give it a LITTLE TUG.I dont think she knew what little tug meant and she ripped that sucker right out of the water and into my cheek. My ex was not home at the time and I didn't know what the heck to do .It hurt so bad I wanted to scream. So we walked back to the house and I some how manged to get it out.
( DID I BRING UP THAT THE HOOK WAS BARBED )
oh .. the memory of it all !
Kathy
This reminded me of the one my son got, right in his thumbnail! He threw a stick, without knowing it had a hook attached to it, and the hook went through his thumbnail, and into his thumb- OUCH! the ER doctor used a big red pair of pliers to take it out!
Hello DenOhio, nice pictures and I really like your rig. I see you guys have big-mouths and stripers up there too. The picture you're holding the fish on the scale, the big one, is that a trout? Also do you have reds up there? Looks like you hooked your arm with a popper ( top water spitter ) what fish do you persuade with it?
