Thank you for that information. I don't think I've ever heard of a Heeler. I'll have to Google it to find out more about them. I'm in the process of putting up pictures of Taser on my profile. She was my daughter's dog. She asked us to dog-sit for her until she found a place to live that allowed pets. After a couple of years, we told her "good luck getting your dog back." LOL!! We fell in love with her the first week. My daughter passed away a year ago last month. Taser is about 12 yrs old and I know I'm going to go crazy when she passes, too
Tonka is a border collie/heeler mix (kind of like an Australian Cattle Dog). Apparently there is some dalmation background in a heeler, from what I've read. Tonka is mostly white but has lots of spots buried in his fur, actually all over his skin too. He's smart, too smart sometimes!
OMG! What kind of dog is this? I think I have one, too. Except Taser has a few black spots on her body; kind of like a Dalmation. But her head, body, tail and hair length are all the same. She is a joy for us, so expressive, smart and loving. We always thought she was a Border Collie mixed with Dalmation, or Irish Setter
