A thick canopy of trees was overhead for much of the drive. The sunlight would occasionally stream in through the trees, creating the most beautiful sight. But every time we found some place to pull over, the clouds returned!
I live in Virginia most of my life. I have many wonderful memories of fall trips with my mother. She has been gone for five years now but the memories we shared continue to live on. Thanks for reminder of those wonder fall drives.
