Maybe it's just his unusual coloring and cut, he reminds me of a dog my family had when I was a young girl. Raggs was his name and he was a pure-D mutt. We would not have taken any amount of money for him either.
Personally I think not being show quality is a good thing!
:-)
I was not there when they (my son and his father) went to pick Woody up but was told that the parents were there and they are both Cockers too. One, I think the mother was some sort of champion, show dog or something. Not sure. So as far as I know Woody is pure breed. His coat is always cut short so he doesn't have that Cocker full coat and his conformations as I checked on the AKC website are not show quality but in person he looks pretty much like most of the Cockers I've seen. LOL, unless they were also mixed. I guess it's possible that the parents of Woody had something else mixed in. Don't know.
Bottom line, if someone offered $1,000,000 for him we wouldn't trade. 2 million, maybe! No, LOL, just kidding. We love him more than anything
Woody is very cute. I'm wondering if he has some other critter types mixed in there too besides Cocker Spaniel? Just love his face and those deep soulful eyes
