Well, I say ... Thank you Olderman. How nice of you to send that comment.

However. Is that the best you can do?  It would be nice if you add some opinions as to why you think the way you do.  I do try to do that. It might not be what someone else wants to hear but it's the way I think which is my right.  I think the government in health care is a very wrong way to get our medical needs met.  That is NOT how the government was set up to operate.

The government is not our baby sitter.  They cannot protect each and every citizen from accident or disaster.  We must be prepared ourselves.  We must educate ourselves to know how to handle the future.  That is not the job of the government.  It never was supposed to be.  Pioneers came west with hardly anything, they built cities and towns and communities. Did the government give them so many freebies to do that?  I don't think so. (yes, some land maybe)  But still people had to build up what they had by themsleves. They had courage and strength to build a future.  How is it that people now days are so helpless that they need the government to protect them from all evil?  Things happen, not everyone will be equal, unless they think ahead.  The govenment can't do that for you.

Hello Everyone on AARP who's going to see this.  How's it going?  You know, it could be better if the democrats would leave everyone alone.  Below is an email I got after signing a petition to get the government OUT of our lives and the health care business.

On this 4th PLEASE take some time to reflect on what those brave, brave men did all those many years ago when they wanted to live in a FREE nation.  Free from taxes without representation.  Well, as I see it, we are back where they started.  We pay so much tax but we get so little back.  Sure, we do get something but is it the value we've put into it.  Now, if they the government has their way we will be controlled even more.  Not able to choose what we want for our own needs but put in a pool with all the others who may or may not have put in as much.  To even out that pool everyone will get the same.  The same low amount that won't help if you need more.  More that you could have gotten if you'd have done it yourself.  Be as brave as those men who saw the future. A future where everyone has the right to be the best they can be with their own efforts.  And not be held back by those who can't keep up.  I say, get those idiot politicians and democrats out of office and save the USA, it might already be too late.

Friends -

Thanks to you, we now have more than 235,000 Americans who have declared their support for a free market health care system by signing the Free Our Health Care Now! petition. The groundswell of support for private health care could not come at a more important time. As we celebrate July 4th, the 233rd anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, the Administration and Congress are making good on their campaign promise to increase America's patriotism by increasing our taxes.

The House Democratic health reform plan includes a provision in section 401 that creates a new "tax on individuals without acceptable health care coverage." That means if the government doesn't approve of the type of health insurance you have, you will be taxed as much as 2% of your yearly income. And there's no exemption for people making less than $250,000 per year! I do not believe increasing our taxes is a patriotic way to celebrate Independence Day.

Additionally, Senate Finance Chairman Max Baucus (D-MT) recently proposed legislation estimated by the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) to cost $1.6 trillion over ten years. Despite this unprecedented budgetary outlay, more than 15 million uninsured Americans would remain unprotected under the Baucus Health Plan. Baucus now says that the cost has been pushed down to $1 trillion, but that may be wishful thinking.

In an effort to continue in the same spirit of those Founding Fathers who met at Independence Hall in Philadelphia 233 years ago, we want to be free of burdensome and illegitimate taxes, regulation and control. To help in this effort we have prepared an "Action Pac" tool kit to educate the public on health care. It includes links for learning and teaching materials including a power point slide presentation with teachers notes, all available for you to use.

American taxpayers and American patients deserve better. Please help us educate the public. Send the "Action Pac" education kit to all your friends and family. Remember, the health care that you're fighting for is your own!

Thanks for your help in this important fight for freedom.

I HATE him, I HATE him. I HATE him.

He is so annoying.  All he does is cough all the time and it hurts my ears.  He makes me so nervous with all the awful sounds he makes.  I hate him.

Then today we were at a store, I was choosing items to get.  It's a specialty store and not too close so I wanted to be sure to get everything I wanted but all he did was say hurry up. He makes me so nervous.  I did find this one thing that I went there for but when we got home I didn't see it in the bag. I looked on the receipt and it wasn't there either.  I think I put it down on a shelf to look at something else and forgot to pick it up again.  I'm SO angry at Dennis, I blame him for distracting me and saying hurry up.  All he does is ruin my life.

I'm also so sad right not because I tried to call Thierry last night and there was no answer. I little worried too but with I could get through, just to hear his voice.  Maybe I should have tried sooner like I wanted to, the past two weeks.  I'll try never to wait again.

Went to Arby's to get the free giveaway for the day.  Came home, watched 'Murder She Wrote' and 'The Simpsons'.  Very disappointed I couldn't get through to Thailand last night.  Sometimes his phone, or is it the calling card we use, doesn't work and the call doesn't go through.  I'll try again tonight (early AM) if I'm not too tired.  Sleeping habits have been so messed up since 'they' (the awful government) too TV away.  Congress is so dumb.

That's it for now.  I'm sure I'll have much more to complain about soon. Be sure to check back.  LOL.

There's a city in California called Ojai, it's a nasty little place.  Actually most of the people are nice and the few things to see there are ok but the city government, I suppose like any people in government are so inept and rude.  Like many people in government they are not helpful but rather insensitive.

Here's what happened. They say I owe them money. I told my lawyer friend I was never informed that they were charging me for a service they say they did for me.  He said to tell them I'd like to arbitrate the matter but they would not listen, they never acknowledged my letters or attempts to settle.

Now they are sending the bill to a collection agency.  They are so foolish.

They are making me angry but on the other hand they are also giving me a good laugh, at their stupidity.

Well!  It finally happened.  My dream of all these years is going to come true.

I live in Los Angeles. I was born in Los Angeles. Recently I tried to move out of Los Angeles. To a tiny town north of here called Ojai. It's an artist community of sorts, quiet and pretty and green but the government there as in most places are a bunch of fools, IMO.  They prevented me from living there.  Their loss.  However, we have closed the deal on a condo in Bangkok.  My dream from the time I met my very 1st Thai friend when I was 20 years old was to move to Thailand and live there.  Now, we have a place of our own.  It's exciting.  In the past we've stated with relatives.  Very nice people but still, not the same freedom of ones own space.  My son has been living there for the past couple of years.  He's staying in the condo now.  Before he was staying with his aunt.  I can't wait to see it in person.  I really don't like the thought of living in a building like that.  We have property there too and would like to build on it but that's in the future, LOL I hope soon.  So I guess I can be in an apartment for a while.  I'll just be glad to get out of the US and the awful politics here.

Ok, don't anyone write to tell me about the red and yellow shirts in Thailand, I'm well aware of what's going on there.  I don't care.  It's better than a country having no president like here now in the USA.

If global warming is so real, why does it seem colder than usual?  Not only to me, but I've spoken to on line friends in various parts of the world and their weather is unusual too but not like a greenhouse.  Colder too.  So if this is real, maybe they have given it a wrong name.
I'd like to know why so many people are trying to make a profit on the weather, scaring people into buying expensive items for protection that they don't need, as of yet anyway.  It's more like 'jumping on the band wagon' rather than actually helping the world to understand and cope with it.
When I say I don't believe in global warming, people react by saying, It's real.  Ok, well show me.  And I don't want any idiot politician like Al Gore telling me things with what he has no an authority.  I've heard that the scientist do not agree, so I'd like to know why so many people think it's happening.  By what logic and knowledge are they so firmly basing their idea that the world is coming to an end?
I think it's propaganda and hysterics.

'The Greening of America' by Charles A. Reich

While cleaning out my book case today I found that book.
All I have to say is, no matter what one thinks of his philosophy or solutions my point is, nothing has changed. 40 years ago that book was written and today people are still talking and complaining about the exact same issues.
I think too, the generation of before that book was penned they probably had the same concerns.
So, why, why if people are not content with politics, the economy and the direction of society, why hasn't anything changed?
I think people should just shut up or actually do something. Like elect people who know what they are doing and will make things so people will be happier with their lives instead of worrying and complaining in vain.

Is there anyone who trusts any politician?
Politicians lie.  That's all there is to it.  Like doctors go to school to learn how to make people feel better.  Architects learn how to create living space.  Firemen put out fires, and on and on.  I think politicians go to school to learn how to tell people what they want to hear but do whatever they want to do behind citizens backs.
It's been still gray and somewhat cold here in Los Angeles, exactly like the past few days.  It's very strange. I don't know if me being so tired has something to do with the weather.  I doubt it but that's strange too that I can't seem to get over this weak feeling.
I know one thing though, there is no such thing as global warming. It's a lie that politicians want us to think. Because they are making a profit from it.

The last few days have been kind of wasted since I couldn't do much.  Thought today I'd be over my 'attack' but was SO tired I couldn't hardly get out of bed.  We watched some TV, then Dennis said he was going to cook his lunch. I dozed off but he made some noise and woke me up.  Then I almost fell asleep again but the same thing happened. And I couldn't fall back to sleep.  I got too much sleep last night, about 6 hours compared to the usual 4 I get.  Never fails, the more sleep the tireded I feel.  I hope I don't have to waste any more days feeling this tired.
