About Me

I'm a Buddhist therefore an atheist. I am a Libertarian and think people should take at least some responsibility for their life and what they do so they don't cause problems for others. It's been a 'long strange journey' and it's not over yet. Love Las Vegas but also equally love being alone in the woods. Love to party but hate people. Just depends on the day and time. If you want to know more go to my website:CuriousCreations.com and email me from there

Interests:
I take photos, I work with clay. Although I've studied other art media as well. However, I have many interests. Name something and I'll tell you if I like it or have done it. Gambling, gardening, Sci-fi, philosophy, those are a few of the things that come to mind now. Animal rescue is important. We need less people on Earth and more other kinds of animals and trees. "Too many humans, not enough trees." People ruin everything. This once beautiful planet is now cement! You would think, if there was such a thing as a god, he'd have stopped people from making a mess of things. LOL

My Journals (104)

I have been so busy the last couple of weeks. Trying to get some work done before the session at the studio ends. It's ending next week and I feel like I haven't done 1/2 of what I wanted.

Have had a lot of things on my mind too but decided not to deal with them and besides some are sort of going away or becoming less of a problem.

One thing that is on my mind is that idiotic health care 'debate'.  I don't watch the news but I do see a few things about it from time to time, like when AARP sends an email about it or one of the email groups I'm on starts a discussion about it.

Why can't people see that it's NOT a good thing for the government to take over any programs?

The government needs to STAY OUT of our business.  The reason the health care costs are getting higher is because if the government therefore the government is not the one to try to solve anything.

We Need Less government, NOT more.

They create problems that don't exist then try to fool us by telling us they will help.

Can't you see that?

I didn't say I liked Rand and Mencken, I said I was influenced by them. Their writing, that is. I don't know enough about Ayn Rand to say either way, but I'm sure I would not like Mencken just based on his empathy with Hitler and the Nazis.

The comment about not caring if people like my photos was disingenuous. OK, I was lying. I'm not like Gauguin in that sense. It is nice to hear good comments. There are few photos I have on my computer that I like well enough to put on my page. Most of my better ones are framed enlargements. When my new camera arrives, a PentaxK20D, I will attempt to do more.

You have some very good photos.

Are you an artist or photographer too? Whoops, guess I should look at your profile before I ask. : )
Thank you again,
