About Me

I am a member of AARP for quite some time now, and do enjoy meeting people from all ethnicities, and from all over the world. I am a Registered Nurse by profession, and am nearing retirement. I also am a Minister of the Gospel, and have recently opened a Web Store. As you can see, I like to remain bussy, but never too bussy for friends. I am the mother of two young adult daughters who are still at home, and we do a lot of fun things together. Being a people person is one thing I love most. I have learned over the years, that beauty is indeed in the eyes of the beholder, and that true beauty flows from on the inside out. Read the book before you judge it, the ending may surprise you! While life does have it's ups and downs, and while we might not like the hand that we are dealt, we must play it whether we like it or not. I am determined to win, and will make it to the finish line.I intend to live victoriously, each and every day!

Interests:
My hobbies include: archery, gardening, crafting, Bible reading, walking, surfing the internet among other things. I like doing volunteer work, and working with the eldery. I find that the elderly provides a whealth of information that they have accumulated over the years, and wisdom does come with aging

I am trusting that each and everyone of you had a great Christmas this year. It was an unexpected one for me this year, as I ended up in bed battling the flu. I tried to make the best of it, but  amids the aches, pain, and many discomforts, I ended up sleeping most of the day. My family did the best they could to encourage me, but as usual, in a flash Christmas day was gone.

Nevertheless, in spite of all this, I still was able to be grateful to God, as I meditated on the true meaning of Christmas. I am still very appreciative of the Gift of God sent down to earth, on that first Christmas oh so long ago. A wise and loving God, put into play His wonderful plan to reconcile sinful man to himself, thus fulfilling His own righteous demands for the punishment of sin. God came down from heaven in the form of a man, as a baby, born of a virgin.

This is what Christmas is for me. While the gifts, and fellowship with family and friends is also important to me, it all means nothing without the best gift of all: God being with us, living in our hearts by way of salvation; "Emmanuel, God with us."  Yes, Christ remains and always will be the Christ in Christmas to all who have been redeemed.

Therefore, in spite of the flu, I still am enjoying a wonderful Christmas Holiday, and may God continue to bless you though out the coming year.
