In my next life, I want to come back as a Teddy Bear. Everybody loves them, nobody cares if they're fat, and the older they get, the more they're worth!

About Me

Well, the "BIG 60" is finally here! Gee am I really that old? You know what they say, "it's hell getting old, but sure beats the alternative". I sure don't feel that old. I'm active, happy, and try to stay positive most of the time...................................... After 36 years working, I was offered early retirement, and was fortunate enough to be able to take it. I have been retired for 5 years now. II enjoy politics, and have always considered myself a moderate independant, but I do lean to the more liberal view, especially when it comes to social issues. Maybe that is why I've been branded as a "lefty", which is fine with me.......................... I lived most of my life in Illinois, but my job brought me to Michigan in 1991. I have made some wonderful friends in Michigan, but I'm really getting tired of the cold and snow. As soon as I can sell my home, I'm out of here and headed for the Desert Southwest.

Interests:
I'm "mom" to 2 "kids", Fred and Wilma, who are furry and walk on 4 legs. I adopted them from a rescue group, and wouldn't trade them for the world.

I am in complete agreement with your analysis, just thought that I would add to the body of evidence by sharing the information, rather than making the pro HCR group members each having to do the work.
From what I have seen on the other AARP groups, those opposed the HCR are constantly saying that "they have a HCR plan", when in fact, none of what they are proposing is anything new...and now we can use their own talking point to prove it!
