I sure do! Encountered a vew customer complaints about dust when we do "big" drywall jobs. But our proposals specifically state that "drywall/construction work results in dust". Terms & conditions of our proposals require homeowner to shut off furnace & AC & keep all doors shut to the construction area & that we do cursory cleaning vice "comprehensive" cleaning. We leave our job sites VERY clean at end of every day. Amazing that some of these people do not follow our recommendations & requirements & then complain about "dust" during construction. We use vacuums & dust catchers for tools & put plastic on all entrances/exits & over carpet, too. Duh! Even had one customer that felt we should thoroughly clean her whole house to include washing the windows inside & out, shampooing all carpets, & removing all items from inside of cabinets & cleaning & replacing items. We give anywhere from one to three year workmanship warranties & have even had a couple of customers call us back to do comprehensive cleaning as part of their warranty. GO FIGURE! But the customers that do this are always from that "spoiled" wealthy segment who have maids. Then, they cry when they have to pay the bill. They are always wanted stuff for free
I had to make a very quick stop before we head out for another load of furniture this morning. Thanks for this big giggle and all the grins of the last week, Connie. I haven't had time to tell you how much the encouragement has meant but I promise I will when the drywall dust clears. And you know how long THAT may take!
