I agree with all the comments people have made concerning taking action on the bailout program. My big concern is seniors trying to make decisions as to where to go with their pension and retirement and bank savings. I think as advocates and members of AARP we should begin to reach out to seniors and help them in ways so they will not make mistakes in trying to move their retirement and savings out of banks and pension plans. I think our action plan should be to let them know if they are planning on doing any kind of transaction like this they should have someone they trust who is close to them and not just someone who is looking to make transactions into programs that might not be beneficial to them. This is the way I look at the situation now as an AARP member trying to react to the bailout situation.
