I was widowed nearly five years ago when my husband died suddenly from post-operative complications. I have only just joined eHarmony because I'm tired of the loneliness. I am not sure if I want a long-term relationship or to marry again, but I do want a friend or some companionship.

Interests:

I enjoy watching college football (because the kids play for the love of the game, not for the money like the pros do, sadly). I love photography although I'm not good at it, and I love scrapbooking and have just started to create electronic scrapbooks. I enjoy music and reading for pleasure. I enjoy learning and am trying to find an Italian language course in my area that won't be cancelled due to poor enrollment. I volunteer occasionally (about once a month or so) with Habitat for Humanity and PADS (a homeless shelter group through my church), and once a week for a couple of hours with a local animal shelter. I am slowing down my involvement in my church-related activities to make time for other interests.
