I forgot---I have been working for 2 weeks as a personal attendent to a disabled lady.  She is awesome and my job is totally what I have been looking for.  While I would much prefer the honor of a secretarial job, this one fits my personality and allows me to be of servvice and to give of myself.  It is exactly what is best for me.  I am so grateful for the guidance of Heaven to have found this opportunity!

Chareine, this is your friend, FriedaKate. I was retired officially for nearly 2 years, and went back to work part-time. Returned to my working with mentally ill individuals, however, at a lesser paid posn. It is okay to do anything, as long as it helps add $ to the coffers. I am an old nurse, worked as aide in older folks' homes for a while in past. I enjoyed most being a case manager with mentally ill clients, but cannot take full time anymore. At work now as residential technician, which is basically someone who is kind of in the trenches (like in Army), where you do work, but you have someone else above you in rank, who is responsible, and makes the BIG decisions. Good luck in your work as home health aide. It is honorable to do this. Joan

The drive my son & I took started out Sunday afternoon and we got home in the wee hrs of the morning--we hit twilight up in the mts and the fog settled in --couldn't see a foot in front of me--my son rolled down window , stuck his head out and shone a flashlight beam on the road--didn't help much but made him feel like he was helping/ We almost hit a raccoon mama with 3 babies trailing after her single file! Never again!...gayle
