ahhh yes..vietnam... i am fifty six, so i was a product of the sixties..... but i have a renewed admiration for our fighting men.... i think it was seeing what my father told me long ago.... i know i asked him at some point how he did it, and that i would have been literaly scared to death...... he laughed, and said, i was. he was always bothered by thunderstorms... the light and the noise reminded him of battle. back then no one knew about post traumatic stress disorder.... i loved him unendingly.. he is gone now... he got a purple heart and a medal for the way he shot rifles.... i thought he was the coolest man there ever was.. he was my hero.... thank you for reminding me

I have been watching ww2 on HD, i was hoping to see my dad in some of the battle of the bulge pix.... they skimmed across that battle.. it was so important and our men where devistated by their conditions.... my dad was hurt in the hurtgen forrest, by throwing himself on top of a grenade.... needless to say he was sent home...
did you watch??? it was some good stuff.... where did you fight? and how did your tour turn out?
