I guess every generation has had it's ups and downs. Hopefully this country will never again experience a 'Depression"... as our parents/grandparents did etc. But I agree with you, things were so much simpler in 1959. My boys once commented to me that they wished they had been able to experience what it was like being a teenager back then. .. LOL
Do you get back to visit your family in Arizona? We transferred with my husband's job through the years, and when he passed away I "came home to roost" LOL
Thanks for coming by and welcoming me to your group. Yes, 1941 was an excellent year, wasn't it? And '59 was a great time to be graduating from high school, too. Times were so much simpler back then, weren't they?
I agree with Pegret that you resembled Elizabeth Taylor back then.
You have lived in a lot of places, haven't you? Wish I could end up "back home"---which is what I consider Arizona to be. My stepdad and my only sis and her family are out there, too
Yes they are both me, the black and white was 1959. I always have liked the old black and white photos. The colored one was 1998. If you know how to add my name, go ahead. Thanks Sandy
