Thank you, how very kind and thoughtful you are. I have a daughter named Windy, when she was small they called her Winnie the Pooh, She loved that, this reminded me of her when she was 5 or 6, She is now 27! Thank You My Friend!

Thank you, I dreamed that I was home in Mexico last night, and the radio woke me with Mariachi music, so it fit right in. Thanks for the thought. We will have a small parade here, nearly half of our people are hispanic, but in Tlachichilco del Carmen, I bet they were out in the streets by dawn, with the music, dancers, and the floats.

I know what you mean by telling about your neighbor being upset. That happened to us when we had my husbands brother and wife in to play. They lost and I do not think we had them back to play again because they were so upset about losing the game. Well I guess we still have our memory intacted if we can remember the little things. I will look for the directions for canasta.

It was really upsetting to see someone become so incenced over a play in a game, I thought that the very word game, meant fun and play. She was so embarrassed by his behavior, that we became embarrassed for hr feelings. I did not enjoy his company after that. Usually he came across as a nice man, but oh hidden beneath that cool exterior, Wow!!

I would also like to have canasta on this game site. This was a game of cards that I played alot the first few years of my marriage. Now no one knowns how to play this and I do not remember all the rules.

I remember that we played canasta with some neighbors shortly after we were married, this would have been, back in the 60's. We soon moved to another state, and lost our card playing group. I am not even sure, if I could still play it today. But if some one of you can come up with an on line version, I'll study up on rules and give it a good try. Some of us are more competitive than others, it was important for one neighbors husband to win, while she played for fun and the game. He would get fired up, and red in the face, if she did not play as he wished. Let us agree to play in a way to enjoy the game and the players, not to become upset, if things don't always go our way.
