Feeling at loose ends after leaving my last job here in Fairfax, VA. My only son has recently married and lives way off in NH. We have one dog (15 years old; a carolina). My husband is an attorney for the NTSB in DC and practices aviation law. I love the arts, gardening (not very good at it), reading, traveling, music, all things British.
Interests:
I last volunteered at a thrift shop in aid of the Fairfax County Humane Society. It was a lot of fun and it felt very good giving my time and not just my "stuff" for the benefit of the animals. Would love to do more of this.My Photos (1)

I'm just getting your message now. For some reason, I can only see part of this page. My monitor is too small for blogging. I must tell my son. He gave me the computer w/monitor. I be volunteering at the AARP Alive@50+ Event & Expo from Sept 4-6. I'm going over on Wednesday to get the "lay of the land." I plan to attend all day, each day, and, of course, blog about what I'm doing. I'll let you know what I discover at the job fair. That is definitely on my list of places to see.
