My SIL was walking through the GA woods and happened to look up. What he saw above him was heart-stopping! DO YOU KNOW WHAT KIND OF SPIDER THIS IS? WE DON'T!

Hi, Tinky...
My SIL could not believe the size of not only the spider, but also the web! He just happened to look up, and was standing right underneath that web! He must have jumped back five feet when he realized what it was!!! LOL

Thank you, Emily...I'll mention that to my SIL. He was so impressed by it that he took multiple pics, balancing items nearby to show its size! lol He's a transplant from up here in Upstate NY, and we don't have them in that size range!

We think this is a Banana Spider. They are very common in South Florida. Very dramatic, good insect catchers and very big webs
