About Me

I worked as a grocery checker for 29 years...retiring after a fourth knee surgery to correct the third knee surgery that left me unable to walk. The months required to fight the insurance company (with the help of a nurse advocate at the dept of Corporations) left me with practically useless muscles in my legs and constant pain. After six months of fighting they 'allowed' me to return to my trusted doctor in Newport Beach to correct the botched surgery. If I had known at the beginning that I was to suffer for so long I would have paid for the surgery myself and sued the insurance company. Interestingly enough...the Newport Beach doctor did it in a Surgical center for less than HALF the cost of the botched surgery in a hospital

Interests:

I have been oil painting for over six years now...and as of January have combined my ability to paint with my desire to help animals. I now paint for the local Humane Society. Every commission is done free by me for a donation to the HS. Works for everyone concerned....and make me happy
