About Me

I retired from a 40 to 60 hour a week job June 2007. I enjoyed working outside creating all kinds of different gardens..I'm "going green". Since retirement I bought myself a Colorado Crew cab truck and hauled and planted over 70 trees, shrubs, flowers,plants, bulbs and veggies. My grandchildren love helping their "Nana" in the yard and I love spending time with them. Now that I have most of my front, back and side yards growing with all kinds of plants, I am ready to go back to work again. I'm loving my part time job that I started November 2008. I am enjoying a new routine.

Busy Busy Busy

I'm having a good couple of planning and planting days. I was able to work outside and "create" by putting in a whole new planting area around my tree and a huge planting area at the side of my home. I planted lots and lots of shrubs and perennials. I just love working outside. My garden is also planted and looking great. Now it's time to wait for new veggies to grow so I can enjoy eating them. My neighbors are even starting to get "creative". I just love to help with tips and advice for anyone who asks. It's great seeing them working in their yards and planting now.
