I also think that a reform is needed but you must keep in mind that 75% of retired people already have a good insurance so messing around with it could really negatively affect those happy with the programs they already have. My sister has read Obama's health insurance bill and it has many areas that are pure socialism and affect most of Americans negatively. We can't help a small minority of the people and hammer the majority just because reform is needed. Obama himself said that they would pull millions of dollars away from Medicare which would hurt millions of people. The Republican plan would accomplish what is needed without hurting anyone. The Democratic plan is a nightmare and My family has read it so there is no misinformation. JIM
