Crazy Horse Memorial graciously hosted AARP South Dakota for our 50th Anniversary Celebration on July 1, the official founding of the Association in 1958. In lieu of admission fees, those who visited the memorial for the celebration donated non-perishable food items to a local food bank. AARP's crew (John Reinhart, Dave Mills, volunteer state presidnent Pat Gross, State Director, Sarah Jennings, and Pius Werlinger of Rapid City) loaded more than 400 food items that were donated by AARP and our volunteers
