AARP's John Rother: What happens if you lose coverage?

What if you already have health insurance through your employer? What does health care reform have to offer YOU?

This isn't about "other" people. It's about you and your family.
It's about your future.

You've probably noticed that premiums are skyrocketing. They've doubled in eight years, and theres no end in sight.

But you're also paying a price in ways that arent so obvious.

I have good healthcare and I'm so concerned that Obama's Healthcare plan will be as strange as his cash for junk cars. The only people that benefited from that plan were those who could afford a new car. The people who needed the help couldn't afford the payments that came with a new vehicle.
If he had only given out Stimulus Checks like we received from the previous administration everyone would have had some cash to spend and that would have saved jobs, create a feeling of security and contentment.
Instead the vast majority of US citizens are still realing from lost jobs, lost benefits, and more.
The biggest fear is what if Obama keeps coming up with more weird ideas and naive citizens go along with them. It's like leading sheep to slaughter.
Are we going to let this happen to our fellow man, our neighbors, family, and friends?
